Attendance Information:
If you know your student will have an appointment during the school day, send a note with your student with the time that you will pick them up and have them bring it to the main office before first period and exchange it for a pass.  This process will help to ensure that your student is in the office waiting for you.

 

 

Permission to Ride a Different Bus
If your child will ride home with a friend or on a different bus, please:
Send a note granting your permission.
Note your student’s name
Date
Bus # traveling on
Friends name of who your student will be traveling with.

 

 Student will give it to an administrator (front office) at their school,     who will approve the note which will then be given to the bus driver. 

 

Bell Celebrations & Information

Bell Middle School is Golden’s only neighborhood middle school and has been recognized both nationally and locally for its high quality programs and academics.

  • WINNER of the 2017 Jeffco Public Library Middle School Reading Contest - Students logged 177,459 minutes to earn this highly competitive award!

  • Colorado Library Association’s WINNER of the 2017 Partnership of the Year for the Girls in STEM collaboration with the Golden Public Library. Every month, Bell’s Girls in STEM work with young girls to teach them STEM concepts in a fun, hands-on way.

  • ALL COUNTY Band and Orchestra Selectees- 26 Bell students qualified for the All County Band and Orchestra in fall 2017. Bell qualified three times as many students in orchestra than any other middle school in the county.

  • Reunion Energy Conservation Competition - 2017 Runner-up - Through Problem Based Learning, Bell honors students led a school-wide effort to educate our community about energy use and reduce our energy consumption over a 3-month period by over 3%, earning Bell MS 2nd place in the competition and a $10,000 stipend to go toward further energy saving upgrades!

  • iSTEM Partnership with NASA, SpaceX,  and Texas A&M - In 2015, Bell iSTEM students partnered with NASA, SpaceX, and Texas A & M to perform worm composting experiments on the International Space Station, receiving national recognition for their research.
